Challenge
Launching a new wellness content platform targeting Black women requires culturally-informed content strategy, clear information architecture for complex wellness topics, and an authentic voice that resonates without appropriating or oversimplifying traditional healing practices. The platform needed to serve both wellness beginners, experienced practitioners, and health enthusiasts.
Approach
Developed deep user personas representing different demographics and wellness journey stages (curious beginners, returning practitioners, advanced students)
Created information architecture for herb library, journal products, and educational content, organized by user goals rather than botanical taxonomy
Designed voice & tone guidelines balancing authority with accessibility
Wrote UX microcopy for e-commerce flows, content library navigation, and product descriptions
Developed content strategy alternating between physical healing and emotional wellness topics
Built a culturally-informed content framework respecting traditional knowledge while making it accessible

I developed a holistic design and education strategy that weaves self-care, astrology, and AI innovation into one cohesive ecosystem. The key pillars include:
EyeAmLove Journals — A series of guided journals integrating reflection, somatic awareness, and indigenous creative healing practices.
Chiron Your Wounded Healer Online Course — A multimedia learning experience combining astrology, shadow work, and energy integration for deep personal transformation.
Audio Meditations & Healing Design System — Visual and interactive elements designed to evoke calm, presence, and embodiment across all NSG touchpoints.
The Soulcial GPT Series — Custom ChatGPTs (Soulcial Presence and The Soulcial Profile) guiding healers, coaches, and creatives in aligning authentic voice with digital strategy.
